NHRC issues notice to chief secretaries and DGPs over shortage of fertilisers

Notices have been issued to states/UTs and Union ministries, urging investigations and proper fertilizer distribution. Allegations of police action against farmers waiting for fertilizers have also prompted NHRC intervention, emphasizing the protection of farmers' rights.
