PDP governors appreciated Buhari for rescuing Nigeria - Lalong

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has said both governors of the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party are in support of President Muhammadu Buhari and they all prayed for him when they met on Friday.

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has said both governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are in support of President Muhammadu Buhari and they all prayed for him when they met on Friday, December 14.

Lalong, who was one of the 36 governors who met with President Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja, said governors of the opposition party, PDP, appreciated the president for rescuing the nation, The Sun reports.

He said: ?I didn?t know that PDP governors like President Muhammadu Buhari until when we met with him at a meeting at the Presidency when they all prayed and wished him well.

?The APC and PDP governors all appreciated the president for rescuing the country from crisis and poverty. We collectively prayed that God will help the president and the governors during the 2019 election.

?All APC governors have been directed to take charge of the president?s campaign in their respective states and ensure that they delivered the president and All APC candidates in the country.?
