China-Kazakhstan cooperation offers a qualitative shift

Beijing and Astana just signed a cooperation plan until 2030. In it and in the accompanying business agreements, analysts found signs of moving beyond traditional trade, as Kazakhstan presented itself as a full-cycle economic hub rather than a raw-material supplier.
