A Yoruba group has urged the Lagos state House of Assembly to grant special status to Lagos state, Vanguard reports.
The group, Yoruba KO?YA Movement, while presenting a 10-page policy paper to the speaker of the House, Mudashiru Obasa, on Tuesday, May 8, said it is important that Nigeria is restructured.
The national organising secretary of the movement, Maxwell Adeleye, said: ?Every conscious and passionate Nigerian should join the call for the restructuring of Nigeria.
