Many of the lighthouses in New Brunswick, Canada have closed, but the revolving brights on Machias Seal Island continue to shine thanks to Doug Laugher. To beat the solitude, the dedicated second-generation lighthouse keeper stays busy with small tasks and doesn't mind the "escape from reality."
