NAIJ.com gathers that the leader of the youths, Jibrin Kabir, stated that his delegation had come to welcome Kumo back to the PDP, after he had left the party in January 2018, due to what he described as unfair treatment and injustice.

According to Kabir, Atiku would surely gain the PDP ticket and win the presidential election in 2019, God willing, with politicians like Kumo in the party.

He stated: ?We are all living witnesses when Garkuwa (Senator Kumo) led the Dankwambo?s campaign organization in the 2015 general elections where he defied the Buhari?s tsunami and successfully delivered Dankwambo as the first PDP governor to win his election in the entire north and later his Taraba state counterpart, Darius Dickson Ishaku."

At his Abuja low cost residence where he announced his return back to the PDP on Wednesday February 28, barely a month after exiting the party, Senator Kumo had told journalists that he was giving his support to the former VP to contest for the presidency in 2019.
